BATES GIN Bates Gin is the first organic gin imported from Brazil and distilled from neutral cane spirits. Neutral cane spirits has very low levels of volatile impurities which results in improved odor and taste after distillation. The Evolution of Gin OUR LEGACY In 1848 Henry Walter Bates left on a journey of discovery in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. His journey lasted 11 years and led to many evolutionary discoveries, including the Theory of Mimicry which became part of Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.
